Cameroonian Chiefs ask president to give them permission to use witchcraft to fight Boko Haram

Worried by the continued terror acts by Boko Haram in their country, some Local chiefs in Cameroon have approached their president, Paul Biya, to grant them permission to fight off Boko Haram using witchcraft..lol. This is according to Cameroon's Investigative Journalist, Bisong Etahoben.

British scientists granted permission to genetically modify human embyros

British scientists have been granted permission to genetically modify human embryos by the fertility regulator. The Francis Crick Institute could begin thecontroversial experiments as early as March after the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority(HFEA) gave the green light this morning.

The scientists want to deactivate genes in leftover embryos from IVF clinics to see if it hinders development.


8year old burn victim receives cards from North West and Penelope Disick

8 year old Safyre Terry who survived a house fire and suffered burns over 75% of her body asked that her Christmas card holder be filled with as many cards as possible as it will help boost her spirit.

Safyre who lost her left foot and right hand and had to undergo more than 50 surgeries to graft skin over her burns was very delighted to get cards from many people around the world especially the handmade cards from Kardashian babies, North West and Penelope Disick.

Five-year-old Murtaza Ahmadi idolises Messi but a jersey of his favourite player is beyond the means of his poor family in the volatile province of Ghazni near Kabul.
His elder brother Homayoun, 15, made him the blue-and-white-striped plastic shirt with Messi’s named scrawled in marker pen and posted the photos of Murtaza wearing it on Facebook in mid-January.

FFK and fiancee, Precious Chikwendu welcome son..FFK's first son

Former minister Femi Fani-Kayode and his fiancee, Precious Chikwendu welcomed their first child together today February 1st. Precious gave birth to a healthy baby boy at Diff hospital in Abuja. The boy is FFK's first son. He has 5 daughters from previous marriages.

According to a source close to the couple, FFK's first son was born in Nigeria, at one of the best hospitals in Abuja because the former minister insisted. All his other children were born abroad and he wanted his first born son to be born in Nigeria like he was! Congrats to the couple!

Bodies of five children, aged between three and seven were discovered inside an empty freezer on January 19 at Kakamas - Northern Cape, South Africa. The children were apparently trapped inside the unused freezer, which was standing in the backyard of their grandmother’s house.

International Human Rights group, Amnesty International has criticized the reinstatement of a former commander of the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Ahmadu Mohammed, who they accused of collaborating with other top officers in the Nigerian military to commit war crimes against people in the North East.

Pep Guardiola signs 3 year deal with Manchester City

Manchester City have confirmed that Pep Guardiola will take over this summer to replace Manuel Pellegrini, who will leave on 30 June, 2016. Today being the transfer deadline day, City announced  the news at the end of Guardiola's press conference. They released a statement today which read:
 "Manchester City can confirm that in recent weeks it has commenced and finalized contractual negotiations with Pep Guardiola to become MCFC Head Coach for the 2016/17 EPL season onwards.

In an Op-Ed for Time, Amber Rose poured out her heart like never seen before. She wrote on having to endure the judgement of others and constantly explaining herself. Court denies IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, bail

A Federal High Court in Abuja has denied the bail application of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and director of Biafran Radio, Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu is standing trial for treasonable offences filed against him by the Federal government.

Justice John Tsoho in his ruling today said Kanu should be remanded in prison until his trial, because he was a threat to national security and since he has dual citizenship, could jump bail.
